Our community guidelines ensure a safe, respectful, and educational environment for all engineering students. These guidelines comply with Indian laws and educational standards.

This platform is exclusively for users 18 years and older. We comply with:
- Information Technology Act, 2000
- Indian Penal Code provisions on obscenity and inappropriate content
- Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012
- Educational content standards for higher education
Zero Tolerance: Any violation of these guidelines, especially regarding inappropriate content or age restrictions, will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to appropriate authorities.

Strictly Prohibited- Original lecture notes and study materials
- Problem solutions with step-by-step explanations
- Educational diagrams, charts, and illustrations
- Course summaries and exam preparation materials
- Research papers and project reports (with proper attribution)
- Laboratory manuals and experiment procedures
- Study guides and revision materials
- Adult/Sexual content: Any pornographic, sexually explicit, or inappropriate material
- Hate speech: Content targeting religion, caste, race, gender, or nationality
- Violence: Content promoting violence, terrorism, or harm
- Copyright violations: Unauthorized copyrighted material
- Personal information: Private details without consent
- Spam/Irrelevant content: Non-educational or promotional material
- False information: Deliberately incorrect or misleading content
Immediate Termination:
Adult content, hate speech, violence, or illegal material
Warning + Content Removal:
Copyright violations, irrelevant content, or minor policy breaches
Content Review:
All uploaded content is reviewed within 24 hours
Appeals Process:
If you believe your content was removed in error, contact support@enginotes.com within 30 days with a detailed explanation.
Report any content that violates our guidelines. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

Emergency Reports:
For urgent violations (illegal content, immediate safety concerns), email emergency@enginotes.com
Positive Behavior:
- • Provide constructive feedback in reviews
- • Rate content fairly and honestly
- • Help other students by sharing quality notes
- • Report violations to maintain community standards
- • Use inclusive and respectful language
- • Credit sources and original authors appropriately
Unacceptable Behavior:
- • Harassment or bullying of other users
- • Discriminatory language or behavior
- • Spam or irrelevant comments
- • Fake ratings or reviews
- • Sharing personal information of others
- • Attempting to circumvent platform rules
